Adding advertising banners or information images to the venue splash page

This article will explain how to add advertising banners or other information images to the venue splash page.  You can use these images to provide information to your players between rotations of the standings and fixtures information.

Before you begin this process, first ensure you have uploaded the image to somewhere on the internet.  If you have a content management system for your website, you will probably be able to do this there.  Alternatively, there are various free image hosting sites around that will allow you to upload images, such as https://imgbb.com/, or https://imgur.com/

Once you have uploaded your image, get the url of the image and note it down - you will need it later in this process.

To start the splash page, click on "Venue Splash Page" on the admin control panel dashboard:

Select the venue and date you wish to display the standings for, and the configuration section will appear:

At the bottom is the "Advertising Pages" section.  Enter the URL you noted at the start of this article into the textbox in the Advertising Pages section, and then click "Add".  The url of the image you added will now appear in the Advertising Pages section:

Click "Start" to start the splashpage rotation, and now, the image you have chosen will be displayed between each rotation of the standings and fixtures.
