Dashboard navigation tips
Dashboard Summary:
When you log in, the "Dashboard Summary" greets you, offering a quick overview. It provides a snapshot of today's and tomorrow's fixtures, as well as those from yesterday. This facilitates easy access to frequently used pages. Hovering over league names reveals buttons to navigate directly to the calendar, duty report, fixture list, or quick results page (if any results are pending) for that league.
If you click the arrows on the right or left of the summary, you can effortlessly scroll through days. This feature was added based on customer feedback, aiming to simplify access to tasks such as updating results, checking today's fixtures, and preparing for tomorrow's events.
Quick Lookup:
The quick lookup feature enables users to search for specific Users, Teams, or Leagues. Admins can search the database by various criteria like username, email address, team name, or league name. This streamlined process helps locate key user/team information, such as mobile numbers, email addresses, and details of the next fixture.
Navigation Tips:
Navigating to fixtures for a specific league is made easy with three options:
- Utilize the dashboard summary.
- Use the quick lookup to directly access the league.
- Navigate via the leagues list page.
This is especially beneficial for sites with tiered security roles, where users may only have access to certain tasks. The navigation process now considers user access levels, skipping unnecessary steps for relevant users, such as those tasked with entering results.
