Fixture reminder emails were not sent out

Fixture reminder emails are typically sent around 8 am. If a team hasn't received a reminder, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. The team's next fixture wasn't in the system when the reminder script ran at around 8 am.
    For instance, if a team played a fixture the previous night, but by the time of the script run there was no upcoming fixture for them, no reminder email was sent. Even if a fixture is added later, the reminder won't be automatically sent. In such cases, you'll need to inform the team manually through the calendar by right-clicking on the fixture and selecting "reminders."

  2. The team might have unchecked the email reminder boxes.
    Each team can decide to receive or not receive fixture reminders, both for the day after and the day before. To check, go to their profile (click "Details" next to the team name in the team list or after a quick lookup). Look for two checkboxes: "Reminder email on the day after fixtures" and "Confirmation email on the day before fixtures." If unchecked, the corresponding reminder emails won't be sent.


  3. Individual players within a team can also opt out of fixture reminders.
    If a player turns off reminders for a team, they won't receive any. To check, go to the player's profile (click "Details" next to the user in the users list or after a quick lookup). Look for an "Email Reminders" checkbox next to each team they're associated with. If unchecked, the player won't get fixture reminders for that team.


  4.  A player may have an unconfirmed email address. 
    Due to this emails will not be received by the user. You may resend the confirmation email to assist the user in confirming their email address status.
