Setting up a new PC to work with Scorer
1. Create a folder on the desktop named “Saved Fixtures”
2. Install the Spawtz Scorer
b. Follow the prompts and install the application
3. Configure the Spawtz Scorer settings to the centres specifications
a. Save the licence file in My Documents
b. Open Spawtz Scorer, You will be notified that you have downloaded a trial version, click OK
c. Click Add Licence
d. Browse to the licence file that you saved in step a and click “Open”, then click “Update Licence”
4. General Settings
a. New Fixture save file folder – browse and select the “Saved fixtures” folder from your desktop which you created in step 1 above
b. Un-tick the checkbox “Update umpire in Spawtz with logged in user on save”
c. Turn “Logging” on
d. Change Clock to 12 hour format v. Click Save
5. Cricket Scoresheet Settings
Set the following as per the centres cricket format:
a. Balls per over
b. Overs per skin
c. Players per team
d. Default minutes per innings v. Court Name
6. Configuring the Display Settings
a. Ensure that the TV is switched on and the HDMI/VGA connection is plugged in to both the TV and Laptop
b. Close any open applications
c. Right click on the desktop and select “Screen resolution”
d. Change “Multiple displays” to: “Extend these displays”
e. Click Apply
f. Change the resolution on monitor 2 to 1366x768 (or near as possible)
7. Download the NetTime Time Synchroniser (optional)
b. After downloading, open NetTime properties by right clicking the icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen
c. Then click the settings button and set the “If Time adjustment greater than” to 1 second
