Linking Spawtz to your website – Fixtures / Standings
One of the key features of Spawtz is that it is very easy to integrate with an existing website. There is also the added bonus that if your website becomes unavailable, the web pages are still accessible for your clients.
There are 3 key ways to display the Fixtures and Standings and all depends on what suits your circumstances the best.
- Create a link for each venue
- Group the divisions in each league
- Create a direct link to each fixtures and standings page
1. Create Venue-Specific Links:
If
you have multiple venues, customize your URL to skip the venue selection
step.
Add
a Venue ID to the URL, like this:
http://(yoursite).spawtz.com/ActionController/LeagueList?VenueId=2
Find
the Venue ID in your online control panel under Config > Venues.
The URL changes every season and league.
2. Group Divisions in Leagues:
For
a clearer view of fixtures, display divisions together on the same pages.
Contact
your Spawtz representative to activate 'GroupStandingsByLeague' for better
organisation.
The URL changes every season and league.
3. Direct Links to Fixtures and Standings Pages:
The unique IDs (Venue ID, League ID, Season ID, Division ID) will differ, so repeat the process for each season.
